The Founder of AmDee Discusses His Passion for Development and…Table Tennis? 

In this edition of Behind The Screen, president and founder of Amdee Amar Trivedi answers our questions on his entreprenurial spirit, his travel experiences, and his interesting hobbies.

What’s your name? Amar Trivedi

What do you love most about your job? I enjoy working with people – clients, vendors or individuals. My position allows me to interact with different people and help them achieve their goals.
What are some of your hobbies? I love playing sports & currently, I am busy learning tennis. I enjoy listening to Indian classical music and reading about Austrian economics.
 
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be? I would love to go for an African Safari at some point in my life.

What motivated you to found AmDee? I have always wanted to create my own company, something I could put my mark on. One of the first AmDee clients was the National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities (NICHCY). NICHCY operated as a nationally centralized information resource on disabilities and special education for children and youth from birth through 21 years of age. We helped migrate NICHCY content (around 8,000+ artifacts) from SharePoint to WordPress. While working on the NICHCY project, I realized that there is a huge need for website design and development for Parent Training and Information Centers (PTI) throughout the country. These organizations provide extremely important information for kids with disabilities. AmDee started working with many PTIs across the country and has since helped many PTIs modernize their websites, make them accessible and consulted on various digital marketing issues.
