How AmDee is handling the COVID-19 pandemic

As a remote company with employees located across the globe, AmDee is closely monitoring the Coronavirus situation. While worried about our staff, we are also worried about everyone as a whole. We aren’t taking this pandemic lightly. As borders close and countries put in place lockdowns to prevent the further spread we encourage following the directives of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

We recognize that as things progress your website is even more important. For staff and constituents to maintain communications and get the necessary information. With remote work encouraged, website glitches, downtimes and bugs are the last things you want to think about. We remain vigilant in our efforts to keep your website functioning and safe. 

We are committed to doing everything we can to keep both our team and your business healthy during this time. As such AmDee has taken the following precautions:

• All AmDee staff have been instructed to avoid travel and large gatherings unless absolutely necessary. This includes conferences, WordCamps, Meetups, etc.
• Furthermore, our entire team has been advised to work from home (and not public areas like co-working spaces, coffee shops, etc) to do their best to maintain social distance.

As the situation is dynamic, the AmDee team remains vigilant. We review global updates daily to ensure our policies stay in-line with the best practices to keep our team and their families safe and healthy. ​

With these steps, we are sure our team will continue to be able to do what we do best: design and develop websites and implement solutions to make life for nonprofits and organizations easier during this difficult time.
