SEO/SEM Manager

Description:

AmDee LLC, a growing web design, and development company located in North Bethesda, MD is seeking an experienced SEO/SEM expert to advise on both internal projects as well as client based projects.

The SEO/SEM manager will have experience with analytics and webmaster tools. They will be well organized, solution-oriented and have an understanding of how a digital agency operates. The ideal candidate should be able to work on a tight deadline with minimal oversight. He/she is a strong collaborator, and able to manage multiple assignments and seek assistance when needed.

SEO Expert Responsibilities:

  • A track record of increased online growth for nonprofit, B2B & B2C businesses
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights for organic and paid campaigns
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content scheduling
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Create weekly, bi-weekly or monthly reports to present to clients with goals, suggestions, and insights into previous actions taken and their results.
  • Optional experience with managing campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Optional experience researching and analyzing competitor advertising links

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adwords, & Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Fastidious attention to detail

  • Experience with A/B and multivariant experiments
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities

  • Research content and make recommendations for paid SEO success
  • Ability to read and present data
  • Create weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports to show recommendations and success based on those recommendations

  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments both long and short term

Content Writer

AmDee LLC, a growing web design, and development company located in North Bethesda, MD is seeking a creative, digital-savvy writer to write for both external and internal digital channels inclusive of the corporate marketing website, intranet, corporate social media channels and other digital mediums as appropriate

The digital content writer will be an experienced writer of digital content for B2B facing audiences and be adept at both long and short form writing.  This writer will be well organized, solution-oriented and have an understanding of how a digital agency operates. The ideal candidate should have experience writing for such social media channels as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn and additional social media platforms as needed. The digital content writer will be a core part of the digital team and will be able to meet multiple weekly deadlines. It is essential that s/he has experience with B2B ideally nonprofits, is a strong collaborator, and able to manage multiple assignments and seek assistance when needed.

Content Writer Responsibilities:

  • Provide copywriting for agency website, social media channels and other digital channels as needed.
  • Be the voice of the brand and ensure all messaging adheres to brand and editorial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the content team to generate story ideas.
  • Generate compelling, well-researched educational topic articles that help to position our brand, company news, as well as content highlighting our products and services.
  • Collect input from team members and research conclusions to brainstorm, ideate through discovery sessions, evaluate briefs, to come up with topics and themes to write about to further our brand and story.
  • Work closely with SEO and weave SEO principles and best practices into all external content.
  • Create complementary posts for different channels with a sensitivity to the kind of writing/visuals that works for each channel.
  • Write long and short form copy: website feature articles, tweets, Facebook posts, banner and promotional teaser and some ad copy.
