AmDee LLC created a mobile app for National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities to help parents, teachers and general public find state level organizations that can help in finding information and assistance.
The organizations listed on the state sheets provide resources in user’s community, as well as provide information and assistance about disability issues in user’s state.
The simple app provides provides the ability to pick a state and shows all the organizations that can help the user. The user can browse through organizations and get the contact information - hyper linked to website, email and phone number.
The app is being demo’ed at 2011 OSEP Leadership Mega Conference and will be available in Android market shortly.
